Note that unlike CNAME, an MX record does not inherit SPF or other DNS records from the target domain, so you may need to configure these separately for outbound mail to be properly authenticated.

Instead of a CNAME record, you can alternatively create an MX record for your subdomain (e.g., `mail`), pointing to `dbname.odoo.com.` with a priority of `10`. The rest of the configuration steps remain the same.
